Depkominfo Wants To Block Porn Sites By National Gateway

There is no doubt about the ability of porn sites that can spread easily via the internet. Information and Communication Department (Depkominfo) are working hard to stop them by build gateway.

"National Gateway is as the filter for all the sites that enter into Indonesia", said M. Nuh, the Minister of Communications and Information when met in Jakarta, Sunday(6/21/2009) afternoon.

M.Nuh explained, any sites that entered from network will pass through National Gateway. So, all sites will be filtered and no more porn sites thread to our homeland.

"This is our effort to filter the porn sites that always use camouflage without remove the real content," said him.
Previously, M.Nuh continued, Depkominfo has succesfully blocked around 2 millions of porn sites which entered through the network for use in the government.

Even have succeced in blocking the million of porn sites, M.Nuh said, it can't make those of the sites lost or unaccessable.
